PITCH LAB

Innovation + Entrepreneurship

Students learn how ideas become real-world solutions.

Pitch Lab is a six-week, project-based innovation and entrepreneurship program where students work in collaborative teams to identify problems in their school or community, research the people affected by them, and develop original solutions. Students combine design thinking, storytelling, creative technology, and AI-assisted prototyping to take an idea from problem discovery to a professional pitch.

CAREER PATHWAYS

Pitch Lab gives students early exposure to careers where creativity, technology, communication, and entrepreneurship intersect, including:

Product Design • Brand Strategy • Marketing + Storytelling • Creative Direction • Technology + Innovation • Entrepreneurship

PROFESSIONAL MENTORSHIP

Creative professionals and entrepreneurs join the Lab to share real-world experience, provide feedback on student ideas, and help evaluate final presentations—giving students an early opportunity to present their thinking to people working in the industries they're exploring.

WHAT STUDENTS DO

Students move through the same fundamental process used by entrepreneurs, designers, and creative teams:

Discover — Identify a meaningful problem in their school or community.
Research — Understand the people affected and investigate potential solutions.
Design — Develop a product, service, or experience that addresses the problem.
Prototype — Use AI and creative technology to visualize and iterate their idea.
Pitch — Build the story behind their solution and present it to an audience.

WHAT THEY MAKE

Every team leaves the Lab with:

A 3–5 slide professional pitch deck
An AI-assisted digital mockup or prototype
A live pitch presentation

WHAT THEY LEARN

Pitch Lab combines creative and technical learning with skills students can carry across disciplines:

Design Thinking + Problem Solving
Identifying problems, understanding users, testing ideas, and revising solutions.

Communication + Storytelling
Persuasive writing, organizing ideas, visual communication, and public speaking.

AI + Creative Technology
Writing effective prompts, generating prototypes and mockups, evaluating outputs, and learning to use AI critically and responsibly.

Collaboration + Leadership
Negotiating ideas, sharing responsibility, responding to feedback, and presenting work as a team
